[resume] => 福州英华职业学院前身为清末教会创建之“英华书院” ( 俗称“英华斋” )，至今130多年。先后培养了二十多位科学家与院士，如化工之父侯德榜、数学家陈景润等，他们为现代中国的发展，作出了不可磨灭的贡献。书院还培养了中共福州市委第一任书记方尔灏等革命烈士40余名，政治精英国民党元老、中华民国政府主席林森也曾就读英华书院，书院久负盛名，享誉八闽。 自复办以来，学院在省、市教育有关部门的关心指导下，坚持校企合作，产教融合，深化“工学结合”的教学模式改革，在为海峡西岸经济区建设培养较高职业素质、岗位技术熟练，适应生产、建设、管理、服务第一线需要的技术技能人才道路上取得了可喜的成绩。2001年成为首批普通高等职业学院，更名为“福州英华职业学院”，并纳入了国家统一招生计划；2010年学院顺利通过教育部人才培养工作水平评估；2011年列入福建省非营利公益性高职办学制度改革试点院校；2012年当选为福建省高教学会就业管理与指导专业委员会副理事长单位。学院先后被授予“教育百强学校”、“社会满意学校”、“省诚实守信示范单位”、 “福州市高校先进基层党组织”、“平安校园”等荣誉称号。习近平总书记在福建工作期间为我院感慨题词“海外赤子，魂萦八闽”。 学院拥有新老两个校区，占地300多亩。现办学地点位于福州市仓山区城门镇，设有建筑工程系、计算机科学系、经济管理系、英语系、公共基础部等5个教学单位，校内教学、科研、体育运动场所、师生生活设施配套齐全，教学、生活和工作条件良好，各类教学、行政、管理、安全等规章制度健全完善。
